How Zocon improved production planning with a custom manufacturing portal
Zocon manufactures agricultural machinery across multiple production locations. As the business grew, coordinating work orders, employees, production information, and planning became increasingly complex.

01The challenge
Streamline production processes
For Zocon, efficient production depends on coordinating people, work orders, and information across different factory halls.
The company explored standard software solutions, but these did not match the specific way its production process was organized. Adapting the operation around an off-the-shelf system would have introduced new workarounds rather than solving the underlying problem.
Zocon therefore looked for a solution built around its existing processes.

One portal for production planning and execution
CPP digital designed and developed a custom production and planning portal to support Zocon’s manufacturing process from planning through execution.
The portal gives production teams one place to see which work orders are scheduled for each factory location. Employees can access the relevant construction drawings, register working time, and mark work orders as completed directly in the system.
Managers can assign employees to specific jobs and prioritize work based on production needs.
To connect planning with Zocon’s existing technology landscape, CPP digital integrated the portal with Exact Online. Work orders are retrieved automatically from the ERP system, reducing the need to transfer information manually between systems.

Managers can prioritize work orders and coordinate employees across different locations, while production teams have direct access to the information they need to complete their work.
